We proudly introduce Hermes Do Braga, a 2011 ABPSL, IALHA Registered, APSL Revised Lusitano stallion.
MOVEMENT and PEDIGREE
Hermes do Braga embodies an elegant and modern sport type for the Lusitano breed. Sired by the Olympic Grand Prix stallion Relampago do Retiro, Hermes possesses his sires FEI gaits, superb trainability, and correct dressage conformation - boasting a super active hind limb, uphill build, and a short strong lumbar coupling. Of the 29 Relampago do Retiro offspring in the APSL stud book, only 11 are stallions. We are pleased to offer these rare and proven genetics to the US marketplace.
PEDIGREE
Hermes was born in Brazil in 2011 and was imported to the US in 2016, and is approved for the Portuguese stud book, scoring a 69.3 at his APSL stallion inspection.

Hermes is a shining example of the Lusitano breed and temperament. He is handled and ridden daily by Dr. Cox - an adult amateur exhibitor and competitor and busy equine veterinarian. As such, Hermes regularly attends many of the USEF horse shows Dr. Cox vets as a noncompeting participant. Everyone is drawn to his magnetic personality and his super gaits.
Hermes is available for breeding to approved Lusitano mares that are APSL eligible. His 2018 frozen semen price is $2500 + $250 shipping fee (2 breeding doses shipped) with a 2-year live foal guarantee. A frozen semen contract link can be found below.
In 2019 Hermes will be shown at third level.
